A snippet of autumn in the land down under
Once in a while we would escape the humdrum of our daily lives and travel thousands of miles away from home just to get lost in unfamiliar places. We love waking up at the early morning hours to grab the boldest coffee (hot coco for the kids) and mingle with the locals sporting their welcoming grins.
If the busy city gets too loud, we'd seek quietness and drive to the ocean side and have our faces cooled off by the wintry breeze while getting damp from the sea spray. Seeing our kids run and jump around getting sand and water everywhere and chased by the freezing waves makes my heart swell and I am grateful for all these moments.
