An afternoon at the boathouse

One Sunday afternoon, we were lucky enough to have been invited to document an afternoon with these fascinating people. There is something I admire about the love between families. I just adore to see all the smiles and hear good and funny stories that made us giggles. This day was nothing short of amazing, from climbing the fenced dock, skipping stones on the lake, a quick stroll in the park and of course sharing some good food....it certainly made our hearts and belly full!

We started our day in one of the busiest but oh-so stunning places in San Francisco called the Palace of Fine Arts. We made our way through the throng of tourists and locals enjoying the warm spring weather. We managed to snapped a few frames before we decided to move on to the Sutro Baths, a few miles drive in the city. This time the sun was so bright and peeking behind the dense sequioa giants, the salty wind blew the leaves and made it sway like they were playing along with Mike and Rhea as they laughed and melted through my lens. Winter storm

It was one early Friday evening, The intermittent showers of hail later turned to snow bathed the town with the ethereal light. We decided to drive up the mountain not seeing a single soul, to exhaust ourselves playing in the fresh powdered snow. clouds are now darker and heavier threatening with a rather harder storm. We finally called it a day and drove back down to our rented tiny cabin, the roads were powdered white and slippery we were greeted by the occasional worker headed home in their snow plow after a day's toil. Micah and Elana are one of the warmest and kindest people I know. To have an oppurtunity to document such a special day of their lives and to be working with the most talented vendors in the industry was such an honour.
